Posturology
Posturology is a science that deals with existing interactions between different human body areas, in our field, among others, of dental occlusion and vision, headaches, hearing problems, cervical pain, back pain, hip problems, Knee pain and plantar support. It has been scientifically proven that acting on one of these “out of place” areas often automatically results in improvements also in other areas of the human body.
In this field at Stomatologico Lariano we have gained great clinical experience on patients, indispensable for evaluating the postural problems associated with dental malocclusion; Our studies also feature a highly sophisticated system such as the BARO-PODO-STABILOMETRIC PEDANA that records the postural changes of the body in a very precise way.
The stabilometric tool, measures millimetre per millimetre, in real time, as the feet rest on the ground and records very accurately how we use our body to stay in balance and in pathological situations of dental malocclusion as our body compensates for posture
The patient’s examination on the baro-podo-stabilometric platform is performed with the patient in a box called SCIENCYOMETER, which captures the posture and attitude that the patient assumes when conducting the examination: in practice body balance is evaluated and recorded in real time, including the position of the feet and the support of the feet at the same time.
This type of analysis and study also provides us with information on vision, cervical problems, back pain, and plantar support.
With this examination, gastric and postural problems related to chewing pathologies are analyzed and treated in our structures in a complete and highly predictive way: a global view of these issues with the aim of planning individualized therapy.
L’esame del paziente sulla pedana baro-podo-stabilometrica viene eseguito con il paziente inserito in un box definito SCOLIOSOMETRO, con il quale viene fotografata la postura e l’atteggiamento che il paziente assume quando viene eseguito tale esame: in pratica viene valutato e registrato in tempo reale l’equilibrio corporeo, l’atteggiamento dei piedi e l’appoggio dei piedi contemporaneamente.
Questo tipo di analisi e studio ci da informazioni anche sulla visione, sui problemi correlati a cervicalgie, dolori alla schiena ed appoggio plantare.
Con questo esame i problemi gnatologici e posturali correlati a patologie della masticazione vengono analizzati e trattati presso le nostre strutture in maniera completa ed altamente predittiva: una visione globale di queste problematiche nell’ottica di una terapia individualizzata.
