Conservative treatment

“Conservative treatment ” is the name of treatment for “CARIES”.

Cleaning , disinfection in a tooth’s cavità , removal or any infected tissue , rebuilding of lost tissue using filling material .

We constantly update our techniques so that our materials are “the safest” and “most modern “ .

We haven’t been using amalgam to rebuild teeth in more than ten years: too many dubts caused by one of his components, mercuri.

They suspect mercury could be absorbed by a body in the days after filling a tooth and arm the body . For this reason amalgam was banished in some countries, like Sweden .

Our FILLINGS are done with:

• The most modern compounds, formed by an organic matrix ( resin ) that makes the material adapt into the cavity and an inorganic part ( ceramics, glass) that makes the material stronger and more resistant and shiny. Can be used in anterior and posterior sections.

• Inlays , small prosthesis made of gold, compound or porcelain produced in our dental technical laboratory : they reproduce the lost part of a tooth and can be remended to it. This technique requires a cavity preparation, taking a cast, trying it and finally cementing the inlay. This is the best treatment, the safest, the best looking and also the most durable.
