Fixed and mobile prothesis

Even the loss of one tooth can modify your entire masticatory apparatus, in a away that will be more evident and more difficult to correct as the time goes by.

Every lost element must be replaced.

There are fixed and mobile prosthesis:

  • Mobile prosthesis are fixed to one of the remaining teeth or lean on gums if all the teeth are missing. They must be removed and washed after every meal . After some years they can be harmful for the supporting teeth that will have to deal with a hervier load and can lose their stability.

  • Fixed prosthesis are artificial teeth placet in your mouth concreted over the remaining real teeth, after their volume is reduced with rotating tools and their shape is modelled . In this way you won’t have to remove the prosthesis and you can brush it as it was real theeth. Nowadays available materials like baked clay with or without gold let us get aesthetically perfect results. Fixed prosthesis have two limits: you have to devitalize and mill some teeth even if they are not decaying and these prosthesis must lean on a sufficent number of elements, not always available.

We can solve this problem with implantology placing titanium structures similar to teeth and roots in your jaws with a surgery.

Titanium can be perfectly integrated by human bones , that in a few months will be able to support a prosthesis .

In this way we won’t need to harm healthy teeth anymore and we can place a prosthesis even when it wouldn’t be possibile.

“Fix your teeth in one day with 4 or 6 implants“

This is a new surgical tecnique that allows a dental surgeon to position in only one day a fixed prosthesis based on four implants without bone grafts or other maxillofacial surgeries.
