With a guide a pre-programmed treatment becomes reality: this technique allows a surgeon to put on a patient one or more implants accurately and in a short time , using no bistoury and to screw in the same session a fixed prosthesis in an hour, thanks to a preliminary study on a computer.

The benefits are threefold :

• The surgical treatment is based on a guided surgery using a transparent mask using no bistoury without affecting gums at all . In this way, pain and swelling eventually present after a traditional surgery are absent: this new technique requires fewer sessions, shorter times and is more comfortable to the patient.
• Patients can resume their normal activities right after the operation because this technique is based on the positioning of a fixed prosthesis. This makes many patients save some money.
• Using Immediate Function™ implants with provisional or definitive fixed prosthesis makes the treatment way shorter.

This technique also reduces risks for patients allowing surgeons to plan the therapy and create an accurate surgical mask to position implants.

Computer-based planning can be used on single , partial or total edentulia if patients meet the general requirements to receive oral surgery, recovered completely after any bone graft procedure and have a sufficient quantity of jaw bone.
