Traditional hygiene

Materials employed:

• ablation instrument (soniflex)
• rubber for polishing
• polish (nupro)
• hand mirror

This technique consists in removing visibile claque and tartar through the use of rotating and ultrasounds tools.

It’s done on patients with a good oral hygiene or patients that are going to need a radicular smoothing. In this case this ckech up is for reducing the bleeding and inflammatory level of gums.

The traditional oral hygiene check up is called “detartrasi” and should be done every 6 months to keep oral health under control. Eventual problems will be identified by the hygienist.
