Required Laboratory Exams

Usually when approaching a surgery adopting local anaesthesia you won’t need to have any examinations.

Some exams are required before an operation adopting controlled analgesia:

Hemochromocytometric exam with differential blood count

  • Quick’s Test
  • Thrombin Time
  • Viral epatiti B and C markers
  • Hiv positivity exam
  • Glycaemia

Possible other hematic exams can be requested by the anaesthetist or cardiologist.

Also other exams ( electrocardiogram, electroencephalogram , etc. ) can be previously requested by the specialists.
