Personalized whitening treatment
(the whitening treatment cannot be done on patients affected by periodontal diseases, piorrea, gingivitis; but can be done after some smoothing sessions when gum health has improved).
Time required:
complete treatment : 2hrs.
1 hygiene session and desensitizing treatment: 40mins (2/3 days before the treatment)
(if the last one has been completed lately 20 mins will be enough taking alginate casts)
Employed materials:
- professional whitener containing hydrogene peroxide : 30% _35% _38%
- color scale
- photopolymer lamp
- double mouth opener
- cotton rolls
- whitener containing hydrogen peroxide or carbammide, at different concentrations : _7,5% _10% _16% _22%
- alginate(for masks casts will be taken durino the hygiene session)
- camera
DESENSITIZING TREATMENT is done in order to avoid problems to patients. It should be done before the treatment, even more than once if required)

The complete whitening treatment (completed at home) is for better results and for lasting more time. Every kind of whitening treatment can have different results on every patient, having different enamels; so patients will have a whiter smile, but not necessarily candid white.
