Anaesthesia

General rules before and after surgery:

Medical dental staff and anaesthetist follow a strict procedure:

 1-Pre-operatory evaluation and anaesthesiologic visit regarding:

  1. Identification of the patient in function of his clinical condition
  2. Evaluation of the patient’s documentation
  3. Physical examination of the patient
  4. Selection of the patient

2-Request of clinical and laboratory specifical exams :

  1. Laboratory exams
  2. ECG
  3. Other exams

3-Specific anaesthesiological treatment

4-Day-hospital degency and postoperatory monitoring

 

The patient must follows these rules:

1-Do not eat for some hours before surgery

2-Be accompanied by a responsible adult, who will have to take him home

3-The patient should not drive or work or drink alcohol on the day of the operation

4-The patient must inform the anaesthetist about any other drug assumption

5-The patient must inform the anaesthetist of every time he had anaesthesia in the past
